UEFA.com's team of reporters on the ground in Milan discuss the Real Madrid-Atlético final in detail and compare predictions – with a majority verdict in favour of Atleti!
uefa champion final
Andrew Haslam (@UEFAcomAndrewH): Stadio San Siro is a bit out from the city centre, but there's a hive of activity around our hotel – which is where Atlético are staying – and there's plenty of media in attendance round the stadium today. The locals appear to be thoroughly enjoying having the first final here in 15 years, there's plenty of coverage in the Italian media and lots of fans in and around the ground already.

Andy: I think you've quite enjoyed walking out to a sea of paparazzi, Andrew. Paolo, it's been absolutely boiling here in Milan. Perfect weather for a UEFA Champions League final. The stadium is ready to roll and there's also plenty going on where you are down by the Duomo, where the Champions Festival is in full swing. What's the craic?

Paolo Menicucci (@UEFAcomPaoloM): The atmosphere here is brilliant. There's glorious sunshine and the streets in the city centre are already packed with fans and people just curious to walk around the festival. Everybody is enjoying the opportunity to take funny photos: for example I did one with the Madrid squad putting my face instead of Marcelo's. My face and his hair? The result wasn't great, I can tell you!

Florida crocodiles: Man-eating Nile beasts confirmed in swamps-

In this 2012 photo provided by Joe Wasilewski, shows a Nile crocodile that he found in Homestead, Fla. University of Florida researchers recently published a paper showing that captured reptiles in 2009, 2001 and 2014 are Nile crocs.
DNA tests have confirmed that three man-eating Nile crocodiles have been found living in Florida's swamps.

Unlike local alligators, the species preys on humans and is thought to be responsible for up to 200 deaths a year at home in sub-Saharan Africa.
It is possible more of the beasts are at large in the state, experts say.

It is not known for certain how they reached the US. "They didn't swim from Africa," said University of Florida herpetologist Kenneth Krysko.

One likely possibility was that they were brought in illegally by unlicensed collectors, who then failed to keep them secured or intentionally released them, Mr Krysko told the Associated Press news agency.

The animals were found in 2009, 2011 and 2014 and were confirmed as Nile crocodiles by a recent DNA test.

The Nile species can grow to up to 6m (20ft), significantly larger than local alligators, which commonly grow up to 4m.
They are known to prey on shrimp, fish, insects, birds and mammals, including humans. They are also known to attack livestock.

Florida wildlife experts are concerned that the African species could pose a threat to the state's ecosystem if they breed in the Everglades wetlands.
The Burmese python was first sighted in the Everglades in the 1980s and there is now an established population of the snake.

"I have two words: Burmese python," wildlife biologist Joe Wasilewski said. "If you would have told me 15 years ago we would have an established population in the Everglades, I wouldn't have believed you."

Manchester United will soon be fighting for titles, says Juan Mata

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has no doubt the team will be lifting trophies within the next 12 months because of their winning mentality.

The Red Devils have not won major silverware since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

However, United - who finished fifth in the Premier League - could end the season with a trophy by beating Crystal Palace in the FA Cup on Saturday.

"This club is going to be fighting for titles," Mata told BLOG SPORT.

"Manchester United is all about winning and having that mentality and winning in style. I am sure this club is going to be fighting for trophies again."

Mata accepted failure to qualify for the Champions League next season was a disappointment but believes there have been positives to take from the current campaign.

The Spain international highlighted the emergence of Marcus Rashford, who has scored eight goals in 17 appearances for the club, and the form of £36m signing Anthony Martial as reasons to be optimistic.

"They are both exciting players," added Mata, 28.

"Anthony has done great since the first day he arrived at the club. He has been very important for us. He is showing his talent to everyone in the world.

"Marcus is very good news for the club. We had some injuries and then the manager believed in someone who had come through from the academy.

"It is very important to grow in your confidence at the start of your career. He is Manchester born. He has known the club since he was a kid. We are very happy for him."

'AFTER WE GOT INTIMATE, I KNOW HE WAS THE ONE FOR ME'- UCHE NNANNA GUSHES ABOUT HUBBY

news
Actress turned moviemaker, Uche Nnanna who married her dream man, Spain-based Nigeria, Richard Maduka, two years ago has been enjoying her marital bliss since then.

The couple has a cute son and recently and in a recent interview, the Abia State movie star revealed that it was only when she got intimate with her husband that she knew he was the one meant for her.

"We met through a mutual friend who introduced me to my husband and we only dated for just six months. You don’t have to date someone for like two years before walking down the aisle. When you see someone that you feel you are compatible with, spend time with that person for one month you would know if he or she is the one or not. I knew my man was the right one for me just after three months.

The attraction was kind of love at first sight because when you see my husband going by his looks and his dressing, he would quickly draw your attention. I even thought he was a play boy but by the time we got intimate, I knew he was the one for me. There is something he loves so much that I equally love which is God," she gushed.

On how she combines taking care of the family and acting, Uche said, "It has not being easy; even my friends tell me that I am a strong woman because combining all of this with other projects is quite challenging. It has been by God’s grace and I thank God for giving me a supportive husband.
